when people died in Egypt they were. Turned into mummies. First they took out there internal organs and put them into jars. Then they put salt onto the bodies and put bandages on them to dry them out. After they have dried out , the bodies were coverd in oil and stuffed with linen and tightly rapped in bandages. For each body it took 70 days to dry the body out . The mummy is put in the inner case with a cover on top . Then that is put in a bigger case which is calledthe outer case then a smaller inner case is is put on top. Then the top of it sealed.
