Te Gus Peak
Once upon there was two children one was strong and big, called Gus. The other one was small but feisty and had the power of their Mum always believing her. They had a fight everyday but secretly they loved each very much.
One day Gus wanted to get revenge and he said that he had found a lolly tree in the forest. So Millie followed Gus into the forest to seek that lolly tree.
When Gus thought they were far enough into the forest. So that their mother couldn’t hear them. Gus turned round and pushed Millie to the ground. Finally I’ve got you, Gus said with a happy voice. No more crying to mummy. Suddenly Millie turned onto her stomach. She got up knocking him to the ground. then he tripped her up and they suddenly were tumbling down the forest hill. Going down, down and down. Millie grasps a tree branch to stop her tumbling to the ground. Millie runs home leaving her brother. Gus gets stopped by a rock and he gets up with pain and dizziness he flops up to wear Millie stopped and with tiredness from walking so far he collapses with a great thump.
His body lays on the hill slowly moulding into it. Millie gets everyone to weave a huge blanket to cover him. The hill is now named after Gus. Millie walks up to visit him everyday. Millie grows old and lived her life of pain from the day Gus died. On her very last night she requests that she is brought up to die with her brother. To this day you can see the shape of Gus. In the brightest mornings you can see the woven blanket and Millie tucked inside it with her brother.
The End.
