Best friends is about two girls Alice and Gemma. But Alice had to move away to Scotland, miles away from Gemma
Alice's Mum had a farewell party before the day they left Gemma went to the party to see Alice. Gemma thought they could run away together but they had to have disguises. Alice's disguise was a black braided wig, a holey t-shirt,a skirt and some shoes. Gemmas was going to pretend to be a boy so her disguise was Alices baseball cap, a t-shirt some shorts and shoe's.
They ran through town with pockets full of money. They decided to ride on a train to london. They were almost on the train when "Alice Gemma come here at once "Your in heaps of trouble"Said there Parents.
Gemma got into heaps of trouble and went to bed without any dinner!
After a couple of weeks Gemma was allowed to go to Alices house in Scotland. Alices house was huge. Alice had a big pink room everything was pink even the walls were pink. Alice said "I still have Melissa do you want her back" Gemma didn't want to hurt Alices feelings so she said "No you keep it"

Alice made a new frind Flora and was scared that Alice and Flora were Best Friends but they weren't luckily.
When it was Gemmas time to go Alice ran upstairs and back down with Melissa in her hands. "Keep it"Alice said "Thank you"Gemma said
