Dr Seuss Art work
We started off by reading some of Dr Seuss's stories and poems . From reading a factual report we learnt about Dr Seuss himself. After that we started to look at his art especially his trees. After we had studied them we got some of our own paper. To make a back ground we made strips of paper and stuck them onto another piece of paper which made it look really affective. We had to get an a4piece of coloured paper and drew our trees in pencil. once we had done that we got some Indian ink and a small satay stick. We had to dip our stick into our Indian ink and out line our tree ;it looked a bit boring so we put detail on them by doing some Cross hatching and to make it look three dimentional we put curved strokes from one side to half way. But our trees don't have any leaves; we went and got our a3 sheet of colour paper. But they looked boring so we put some detail on them. But we neede4d to stick them on. THEY LOOKED AWSOME !!!!!!!
