River Rafting

It was a gloomy Friday,you could hear faint screaches of seaguls in the distance. We walked over broken shells and rocks untill we got to Clem the instructor. I was in a group of four with Ruby,Laim,Adam and I we had long wooden paddles .When we finally got into the water we got stuck in a whirl pool it took five minutes to get out but Ruby and I were doing all the work. Were the others stuck as well NO! They were ages away but we caught up to them in the end.Next thing we know we were leading the snake with Clem . He gave us a sign to go faster over the rapids.They were the best part. We were watching Tom's dad Graham flip his canoe . It was really funny as well. We got down the rapids alive but SMASH we knocked Ella's tube into the cliff face. We finished wet and cold but I loved every bit.
