River Rafting

On that very gloomy day the tyres were heavy and the paddles were light. The buoyancy aids were stuffy and the helmets were tight. Clem said we were going down the river in a raft. 1,2,1,2 our group said Me, William, Jemimah, Sophie E and Miss Northe. Our long covered legs got cold. We got caught in the fast flowing rapids turning side to side with the sound of the river in our ears, and the taste of salt in our mouth. We stopped a few times to have eat our lunch but the last time we stopped was to warn us that we had to hit a rocky, slimy, hard wall to turn. My group was at the back of the pack admiring the beautiful views that surrounding us. We had finished the ride on the raft but it was a nice time.
